Klasičtí filologové ve vědeckých komisích České akademie věd a umění v protokolech ze schůzí III. třídy v letech 1918-1952

Protokoly ze schůzí III. třídy, uložené ve fondu České akademie věd a umění v Masarykově ústavu a Archivu Akademie věd České republiky, patří k nejdůležitějším pramenům pro poznání její činnosti. Cílem článku je jejich analýza ve vymezeném časovém období let 1918-1952 a charakteristika působení klasických filologů zejména ve stálých prováděcích komisích organizujících vědecké úkoly třídy. Od roku 1897 fungovala Komise pro vydávání Bibliotéky klasiků řeckých a římských, přejmenovaná v roce 1943 na Komisi pro vydávání řecké a latinské knihovny. Velmi detailní informace protokoly podávají o Komisi pro slovník středověké latiny, která se ustavila v souvislosti se zapojením do Mezinárodního svazu akademií (Union académique internationale) v roce 1931. Ve stejném roce byla založena i Komise pro Corpus vasorum antiquorum s úkolem vydat edici antických váz a jejich zlomků v československých sbírkách. Z klasických filologů nejvíce na práci vědeckých komisí participovali prof. František Groh, od počátku třicátých let 20. století prof. Antonín Salač a od konce třicátých let prof. Bohumil Ryba.

Classical Philologists in Research Committees of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Arts in Reports from Meetings of the Third Category in 1918-1952

Reports from meetings of the third category, stored in funds of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Arts in the Masaryk Institute and the Archive of the ASCR, belong among the most fundamental sources for understanding of its activities. The aim of this article is its analysis in a given period 1918-1952 and characteristics of classical philologists' work, especially in permanent executive committees organising research projects of the category. Since the birth of the Academy in 1890, the Committee for Publishing of Bibliotheca of Greek and Roman Classics has been in operation, in 1943 the name was transformed into the Committee for Publishing of Greek and Latin Bibliotheca. Reports provide pretty detailed information about the Committee on Medieval Latin Dictionary, which was established because of the connection into the International Academy Union (Union académique internationale) in 1931. At the same year the Committee on Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum originated with a goal to publish an edition of ancient vases and their fragments in Czechoslovak collections. As regards classical philologists, prof. František Groh has participated the most on the research committees' work and since 1930s also prof. Bohumil Ryba and prof. Antonín Salač.
