Results show quite a unique case of influence which the establishment of the republic had on a student structure. While until 1918 the school was attended almost by one hundred percent of Roman Catholic students, subsequently this confession was meagrely represented and on the contrary, the newly established Czechoslovak Hussite Church became noticeably confessed by students. Another changes are visible in the transformation of the middle class. Students, which were distinguished by a low number of the higher middle class and the new middle class in years 1910-1920, became one of the most progressively constituted social groups. The change of the political system also caused the consolidation of the upper social class. The results of the analysis of students' permanent addresses confirm an idea of a gradual localization of secondary schools. At its birth, Slavonic Grammar School recruited its students from the whole area of North Moravia. However, when a school network became thicker, a catchment area of the school decreased and in the period of the First Republic it did not play a significant superregional role.
