AB The article deals with some of the issues related to the origins, nature and characteristic features of the early Renaissance in Moravska Trebova which is closely connected with the activities of Moravian aristocrat Ladislav Cernohorsky from Boskovice. Special attention is paid to persons who rebuilt the castle in Moravska Trebova at the end of the 15th century. It also focuses on models and patterns which were used for reconstruction and it shows what these changes meant for initiators.
