Československo a suezská krize: Příprava československé vojenské jednotky na možné nasazení na Sinajském poloostrově

Uvedená práce se zabývá úlohou Československa v době Suezské krize. Přichází tedy především s nástinem vzájemných vztahů (hlavně ve vojenské oblasti) v období těsně předcházejícím krizi a v následné válce. Stručně informuje o zbrojních dodávkách a činnosti vojenských instruktorských skupin s dalším výhledem do budoucna. Jádro předloženého materiálu pak informuje o výstavbě československého praporu pro potřeby "akce Organizace spojených národů k zastavení válečných operací v Egyptě". Vše je následně v rámci možností zasazeno do širšího rámce tehdejšího světového dění.

Czechoslovakia and the Suez Crisis: The Preparation of a Czechoslovak Troop for Possible Service on the Sinai Peninsula

The article deals with the role of Czechoslovakia in the period of the Suez Crisis. It comes with the outline of mutual relations (especially in the military area) before the crisis and during this war. It briefly discusses shooting supplies and activities of military instructor groups with future prospects. The core of this study informs a reader about the establishment of the Czechoslovak battalion for needs of the United Nations' action to stop military operations in Egypt. All events are put in broader context of the world history at that time.
